This is a simple technique for transferring healing energy from the giver to the receiver through various hand positions on the body. Disease, pain & illness are believed to be caused by an imbalance or shortage of energy (chi) in the physical body. Reiki can be used to comfort, relieve pain, restore vitality, heal illness & aid in spiritual growth. This also creates a healthy flow of chi between the seven energy centers (chakras).
